Trem do Corcovado holds Christmas event in the surrounding communities

“A gift! A gift!” Those were the words with which Santa Claus was welcomed at the station, amid many smiles and eyes eager for this very special moment. For more than 20 years, the Trem do Corcovado has been proud to be part of Christmas in the Cerro Corá and Ladeira da Ascurra communities, bringing the joy and wonder of Christmas to many children and their families. This year, Santa Claus was welcomed at the Ladeira da Ascurra sports court, together with the band of the Rio de Janeiro Municipal Guard, which delighted everyone with the traditional Christmas songs. The children handed over their letters for Santa to read and received in return their long-awaited gifts.
