Corcovado Train

One of Rio’s Christmas traditions is back, and now more complete than ever. The Christmas Tree of the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon has been set up again and was inaugurated this week, with unforgettable attractions to celebrate Christmas in Rio de Janeiro.

At the venue, opened at the Lagoon Complex, visitors can be enchanted by Santa Claus at the Santa’s House. The event also features inflatable toys, a Ferris wheel and a range of food attractions. The visual effects projected onto a water screen — the kind used in Disney park shows — are a spectacle that rounds out the experience. The attraction is open to visitors until December 25, free of charge!
