Carioca Music aboard the Trem do Corcovado

We began the month of September with the first edition of the project “Carioca Music aboard the Trem do Corcovado.” With the wonderful participation of Maestro Wilson Nunes and the enchanting voice of Fátima Regina, the visitors waiting to board at the Cosme Velho station of the Trem do Corcovado on Friday, September 1, were able to enjoy classics of bossa nova, MPB and samba — just the way cariocas like it! We are immensely grateful to the artists for making our sunny morning in Rio de Janeiro even brighter.
The next editions, with MPB, Bossa Nova and Samba shows, will take place on October 9 — the anniversary of the Trem do Corcovado; October 12 — the anniversary of Christ the Redeemer; and December 2, National Samba Day. The event is FREE, at our Cultural Center — don’t miss it!
